Yellow Submarine

Yellow submarine was another page that I created over NSD weekend!

I wanted to highlight a little bit of the Nemo ride at Disney!

This overlapped into a few different challenges, one being to use scraps(all the blue) and the other was to try and get an ombre effect which I tried with the graduated arrows. 

I used a sketch by Shimelle Laine.

Grilled Cheese

NSD last weekend led me to complete many layouts in the past week for challenges!

This particular layout features my dog Finley, enjoying some people food.

The particular challenge I took, got me to pull out

some ribbons and transparencies 

I hadn't used in a while!

A pretty simple layout, but it's done!

I created this layout this past weekend for NSD

It's so simple

After a long pause, 
I was super sick which then turned into horrible allergies,

 I am back with my last layout for the Shimelle Laine layouts within limits concept.
Such a great way to get some layouts done quickly and I've already generated a new kit for the next go around at this concept!

This layout features my son Noah, eating a ghosty icecream after his football game.
It's so simple to make him happy! Doesn't his face just match the ice cream?!LOL!

Sunrise Mass



My second layout featuring Shimelle Laine's concept of Layouts within limits

features an Easter Sunrise Mass that we attended. 

I changed up the sketch a bit due to my having 2 horizontal photos and after flipping that turquiosy heart paper, that I had used in the first layout,

 over I was able to get the border square to blend well with the striped background!

 I made it all work, and really like how this one turned out!

Mothers Day 2011

This Mother's day layout was born! I really liked this video and how it encouraged making a kit out of your stash big enough for three layouts and using only what you had in the self selected kit contents to complete the layout. It was quite freeing and the layouts came together quite quickly and without all the hemming and hawing and looking for supplies!

A quick Disney layout this morning-
