Hello! In honor of Father's Day yesterday I wanted to post a layout featuring my husband and kids. The layout was done as part of a challenge for My scraps and more got talent III event!

The challenge was to use no pattern paper, hard for me

but I think I did well using some project life type cards!

 I followed a color challenge, offered by Two Peas and threw in a Shimelle sketch to come up with this layout featuring my son, Noah and his friends!

All Dressed Up

All Dressed Up is the third layout for my attempts at

Shimelle Laine's Layouts Within Limits.

I really did enjoy this concept of limited supplies-

 sometimes I get so caught up in looking for the right things

and this idea really helped to make speedy layouts.

This layout highlights my daughter Abriana after her choir concert, All Dressed Up!

There go the braces

 My second layout for Shimelle's Layouts Within Limits led to

this before and after page

about my son getting his 2nd set of braces off.

I like how the concept forced me to use a couple of 6x6 pages split in half

to help layer up a little of the corners

and how it also allowed me to feature this

bright and busy looking white/red spotted paper!
