Here is another page that I did for the crop at Memorable Seasons. I had hoped to get more done that just the three, but time has gotten away from me! The challenge was to use 4 different embellishments 4 different times. I chose to use 4 golden bling, 4 mini brads, 4 buttons, and 4 ribbons- one along the side and I cut up a word ribbon and used it on three of the pictures. Thanks for looking!

I've been participating this past weekend in a "Leap Year" crop over at Memorable Seasons! I always enjoy the many challenges in a crop- it's been fun! We still have three more days to get layouts done so expect to see more from me!
The above layout was based on a challege to use kraft, twine, and a banner. A picture of me and my husband!

2 layout Sunday
Sunday's are usually productive for me to get some scrapping done- I tend to scrapbook in the afternoon while trying to catch up on all the DVR tv shows that I like to watch. Old Town, San Diego is another favorite stop! I completed this layout with the help of a sketch from Valerie Salmon here at http://gotsketch.blogspot.com/ I often find her sketches helpful for the linear look that I tend to go towards! Products used: Old Rhonna Farrar (yeah! for using my stash), some MME and of course AC for the title!
Here I started to use a sketch by Valerie- but took it my own way as I wanted to use the surfboard MME paper. I really like the photo I took and glad I was able to highlight it on a layout.

Here's a layout featuring one of our favorite places to eat in San Diego! It's a must visit everytime we get into CA!
The food is yummy and the Happy Hour prices let us fill our bellies full!
I used Bo Bunny paper and letters for this layout and finished it off with my embellisments from Making Memories and My Minds Eye! Thanks for looking!

Graduation lunch
I finished this layout yesterday about Abriana's 8th grade graduation(2009) lunch! I've had the photos developed and sitting around for a bit and was happy to find a sketch by http://www.kimbyrns.ca/bitesizedscrapbooking that helped me work all these vertical photos. Pairing the sketch along with an older Scrapbook Circle kit made it all came together wonderfully~!

Let's get Sketchy!
I wanted to post my layout for a design team call at http://letsgetsketchy.blogspot.com/! I changed it up a bit, added my own spin, and I think it turned out great. The picture is of Abriana and Noah standing together on a bridge at Seaport Village. I enjoyed using these fun bright papers and enjoyed the challenge of the sketch!

12 of 12
I thought I would choose my most recent completed layout to start my blog! I decided to try 12 of 12 this year. It's something different for me as I don't normally like the idea of being forced in to taking pictures just to complete yet another project. I take so many already just of life and events that I didn't want to bog myself down with a task like Project Life but yet still wanted to try the concept out. So, 12 of 12, so far, is a happy middle for me! This layout is based on a sketch that was provided as part of my 12-of-12 group on facebook. Thanks for looking!
Scrapbooking
I thought it was about time I hit the blogging world! I wanted to have a place where I can post my layouts on a continuous basis- so here I am! It'll be also interesting to post a few thoughts now and then! First layout to come up this evening!
